Background
Christine Reed breeds Hanoverian Horses, Dorper Sheep and now White Galloway and Miniature Cattle on her lifestyle farm situated in Featherston, South Wairarapa.
Christine wanted a website that showcases available stock online. It was important that she had the ability to be able to update and maintain the site herself.
The Challenge
The challenge was to find a balance between information and language that would meet the needs of both the inexperienced and experienced lifestyle farmer.
The Solution
We worked closely with Christine to understand both the needs of the customers as well as the technical aspects of the various types of livestock which she has on offer.
Simple language and images were used that would portray the animals as attractive and easy to manage.
The Result
A site that gives Christine a much bigger presence in the New Zealand market than she would have been able to achieve any other way for similar cost.
